Dear circular building enthusiasts,
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Call for Participation, featuring three interactive workshops designed to drive innovation in the circular construction industry. Each workshop focuses on a unique aspect of circular construction, providing participants with opportunities to collaborate, brainstorm, and refine actionable solutions. Attendees will also have the chance to submit their ideas to the Circular Building Industry Innovation Booster (CBI Booster) for a chance at 20,000 CHF in funding to further develop their concepts.
Workshop 1: Scaling up Reuse

In collaboration with Cirkla and öbu, this workshop focuses on making reuse practices more practical and impactful in the construction industry. Participants will address challenges such as:
Tools and Innovations for Urban Mining and Reuse Logistics: Enhancing material recovery and optimizing reuse logistics.
Rethink Education Towards Reuse: Developing educational models to teach reuse-oriented skills.
Technical Reuse Innovation: Creating products and methods to extend lifecycles through multiple reuse cycles.

Workshop 2: Circular Building Concepts through Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Hosted by the Charta Kreislauforientiertes Bauen, this workshop focuses on exploring new approaches for sustainable construction. Participants will address challenges such as:
Stakeholder Management and Mindset: Creating a shared understanding of circularity among all project stakeholders.
Delivery Models for Circular Building Projects: Developing models like Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) for circular construction.
Visionary Solutions: Designing economically viable building concepts focused on circular products and components.

Workshop 3: Digital Process Innovation for Circular Construction

Hosted by Circular Hub, this workshop explores how digital solutions can enhance circular construction processes. Through expert insights and interactive ideation sessions, participants will tackle challenges such as:
Process Innovation for Digital Circular Construction: Adapting planning and construction processes to integrate digital solutions.
Digital Integration Across Construction Phases: Leveraging digital tools throughout all project phases.
Competences and Skills for Digital Circular Construction: Building the skills needed to implement digital innovations effectively.
